About Me
I'm Elizabeth Kathleen also known as "EK". When you're born in the back seat of a VW Bug you just know your life is going to be a bit different and I can honestly say that has definitely proven to be true!  I am a bohemian explorer of the universe, a lover of cats, coffee, fitness, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stephen King, John Mayer,  and spiritual studies.  I've been licensed as a Physical Therapist since 1987 and as a Registered Nurse since 2011. I was a CPR instructor for 10 years.  I have always had a camera in hand since I was a child. In high school I had my own black and white darkroom and developed both film and prints. In 2017 after working in health care for 30 years I decided to return to my life's passion of photography.  I enjoy wildlife photography, especially birds, landscapes and astrophotography and have started working more on portrait photography and events.  I enjoy continuing to learn about all areas of photography. I believe in the power of photographs to help us capture meaningful moments in time and keep a tangible reminder of our experiences and journeys through life.
